Griffin Arellano

Annarose Fitzgerald
Annarose Fitzgerald is a PhD candidate and instructor in the English department. While specializing in early 20th century poetry, she also teaches World Literature and Expository Writing.

Kris Miranda
Speculative fiction geek Kris Miranda is a master’s student in philosophy. His intended specialties are existentialism, Buddhism, and ethics, with emphasis on skill and the superhuman. He’s reasonably certain that practicing yoga helps. As an undergrad at Colby College, Kris helped edit the student newspaper, the Echo; and reviewed chapter drafts for Buddhist Philosophy: Essential Readings, from Oxford University Press. In his wildest dreams he’s a screenwriter. In real life he’s a project assistant for UNM’s Graduate and Professional Student Association. Sometimes Kris has free time, and sometimes he has the discipline to manage his time well, but it’s been awhile since he had both at once. Nevertheless, he dabbles in martial arts, video games, and weirdly specific daydreams.

Elizabeth Thayer
Elizabeth Thayer is a third year undergraduate at the University of New Mexico pursuing degrees in English/Professional Writing and Psychology. She plans on attending graduate school following graduation in May 2013. Elizabeth wants to pursue a graduate degree in Clinical Psychology or Social Work. If she doesn’t attend graduate school she plans on working in the Publishing/Editing field or Professional Writing. In her free time Elizabeth enjoys hiking, yoga, and camping. If she is not outside she is curled up on the couch reading or watching movies. Elizabeth is currently working on a young adult novel she hopes to publish it by next year.
